One thing I have learned especially over these past few years is if you want to dance beautifully, you dance with a dancer. I will tell you a story of a friend of mine to help you see what I am talking about in a moment.

This principle applies in many areas of life. I use it in my relationship with God. I don't need to see the whole picture of what is coming around the corner or have the full revelation (or any for that matter) of what is happening in my circumstances to be able to relax into what He is doing and let Him (who knows all and sees all and has history in His hands) walk me through it. It takes trusting but I simply am learning to live in this moment to its fullest extent and let God take me through from one moment to the next. He is an expert "dancer" and I can dance with Him if I simply allow the moment to moment dance to happen with God taking me in His arms and "whisking" me around the dance floor.

See if you can picture this with the following story…

My friend and his wife were taking dance lessons to learn how to improve their steps for their daughter's wedding. They were getting the steps fine…the mechanics of the dance…but what they were doing actually looked nothing like a dance.

They had the right steps, even the right timing…but they were not dancing, flowing around the floor and creating beauty together. The instructor stopped the class and asked to dance with my friend's wife.

She had a choice to make…step out and take a risk or step back and not look foolish. Those were the choices and she was tempted to choose the latter…

but she didn't. She chose to take the risk.

The instructor took her…told her to simply relax into his arms and then let him lead. He whisked her around the room like she had been dancing all her life. You see…even though she had no idea what she was doing she was in the arms of her instructor that knew exactly how to prompt her, nudge her, twirl her or whatever was needed. She looked as if she knew exactly what she was doing as long as she relaxed into what he was doing.

There are many other areas in life where this is the case as well. If you want to really learn how to create a beautiful dance…you need to dance with a dancer. My friend Matthew Neer shares that he has never met a 7 figure income earner who did not have a mentor. I would concur with that.

I am sure there have been a few along the way but if you want to be "whisked" across the floor in this dance of internet marketing you must dance with a dancer. I have been able to do just that and as I am learning the dance I have been able to turn around and bring others into the dance as well.

I have been consulting and coaching for just about twenty years now. I have been leading people in the dance for most of those years. Now I am on the Internet doing this dance and it is a bit different. So…I decided I needed to dance with a dancer. Now I am able to incorporate what I have learned by dancing with the best myself to turn around and lead others in the dance.

I have learned to combine my strengths, experiences and expertise along with my recently acquired art form in the dance of Internet Marketing. I have now become a master dancer myself. You have heard that there are  those who can and those who teach. Of course this implies that those who teach can't make it on their own. In many cases this is true.

However, I am talking about something different…you see there are those who don't know how to dance, those who are learning the steps and then there are dancers.
