How to Get Your Way-Part 1-Deception
A short aside:
My plan for doing a post per day kind of flew out the window with a neck injury I sustained about a week ago. I was in so much pain I was not only nauseous, but I had to concentrate to keep form tearing up.
I have felt this kind of pain before when I blew out a disc or two in my lower back about 24 years ago. I did something similar to my neck but here's the difference…I was back playing soccer tonight after one week. If I hadn't have been supernaturally healed over two decades ago from my back injury, the year and a half that I was completely out of commission would have stretched into who knows how long.
Is my neck 100% better right now? Not yet! In fact I kind of screwed up tonight in my soccer game. My teammate put a nice fat juicy ball about head height in front of the goal. I had vowed not to head the ball at all tonight but I only remembered this half way through my going for the header wanting to put that ball into the goal. At the last moment I pulled back and it hit my head but I didn't "go for it" at all…so the impact was minimal.
I wish I could tell you that it scored but it did not. I didn't care I just remembered the intense pain I have felt this week and was grateful for just a smidgeon of common sense on my part. I may pay for it just a bit tomorrow…but it may just remind me to continue being careful for a few more days until I am healed up again.
Anyhow…I was going to write on this subject tonight because I believe it is so important to share the information of how I can get such amazing results in this realm of overcoming injuries. Plus…honestly, I think you should purchase my ebook on the subject. You may not care right now, but you will have wished you had this information whenever you or a loved one gets injured and the best you can do is listen to the so-called "experts" out there telling you to do so many things that simply do not work very well.
I will share more about this at a later time but I must at least share this secret…the first five minutes after an injury (sometimes up to one hour) are the most critical for absolutely lightening fast recoveries. If you use ice, you will close down this window of opportunity. If you follow my methods, you will see recovery periods that are 5-10 times faster than you thought possible.
Since these first few moments are so critical…do you think it is important to know the information ahead of time? Buy the book!
Okay…here it is: How to get your way…deception.
Okay…I feel compelled to share something else tonight that I think is of much greater importance. I don't know about you, but I am horrified when I take a critical look at what is happening in our country.
Is our economy safe? When we have a national debt of over $12,000,000,000,000.00 and other unfunded liabilities of over $107,000,000,000,000.00 (yes…that is how many zeros you need for trillions) I can't just sit back any longer because I don't want to offend you fine people in the world of the internet…especially my friends in the internet marketing industry.
Aren't we all trying to make money so that we can give ourselves and our families a better life? Aren't we all trying to make more money so that we can take that extra money and put it to use to help out our fellow human beings that are hurting?
I think these are great things. What enables the entrepreneur to do this? Freedom is the answer!
Consider this…if I am forced to give up 50% or 60% or 70% or 80% or even 90% of my money to fund a governmental machine that is out of control…how much help am I to my family and others? Can the government do a better job than me and my family at helping other individuals that are hurting?
How much overhead do I have when I want to help someone? Well…it depends upon how much is stolen from me by the government. If I have the freedom to use my money the way I hope and desire to use it…I have basically zero overhead.
Guess what that means? The people I want to help…get the full benefit of my help.
What happens when the government wants to help those in need of help? How much overhead does the government have?
Well at present…the government's spends about 25% of our national income. I hope you understand what this means. I am not talking about the government's income through taxes, fees, licensing, and on and on and on. I am talking about the total national income of our nation…all businesses, all sectors.
It's actually worse than that though. Today there is 499% debt compared to national income. Think about this…as a nation…we bring in far, far less each year than we have debt. There is only one way for the debt to go…that is up.
If I make $100,000.00 but have $500,000.00 in debt how do I use that $100,000.00? Let's just say the interest on the debt is a low 5%. Now I have $75,000 left from my original $100,000.00 because I at least had to pay the interest on my debt. What if I now have to spend $77,000 to simply survive? We have to buy food, gas…whatever.
Our new debt would now be $502,000.00 right? What if I decide I need a better TV? So I go out and purchase a new HD TV for about $2,000.00. Well, $2,000.00 compared to $500,000.00 is not very much is it?
On top of that let's say I need a new car. The car cost me $40,000.00 (because I am frugal—I don't need a new ZR-1 Corvette for $100,000.00). Oh yeah…I forgot to tell you we had the A/C go out on the house. That cost $4,000.00 to get a new one.
Now, my debt has just risen to great new heights because I love to have this new and shiny stuff. It is now$548,000.00. Let's be nice to ourselves and say the interest stays at 5%.
Our new interest payment for the next year is now $27,400.00. You would hope I would get a raise…but the economy is down so my income actually went down. Last year it was $100,000.00 and this year it is $94,000.00.
The bummer is that the cost of living has actually gone up. We also…actually hired a nanny to help us out because we are so busy. She doesn't cost much because she is like family to us. We only pay her $15,000.00 per year. I know…we are cheap, but c'mon we are hurting financially…remember?
So our expenses went up from $77,000.00 to about $94,000.00. Here is where we are at now…we bring in $94,000.00 but we pay out $94,000.00. Great we broke even for the year. Whoops…we forgot to add in that pesky interest payment of $27,400.00.
That now puts us at $121,400.00. According to my math (of course I am not a mathematics instructor)…this is bad. I wonder what happens next year?
Likewise…our government spending is completely unsustainable. You can change these numbers any way you want but the facts show that the direction that I charted out in the example above is the direction we are heading. We may not be going at the hyper speed (yet) of what I outline…but our inevitable destination is we will get to a place where we will default on our debts or we will have printed so much money as to completely destroy our currency.
That is the first part. Some people are talking about it but there isn't a hint from the federal government of the massive debt problems we have now in our nation. Why would you talk about it if your intention is to keep spending and spending. The deception is great.
Here is the second part…let's just take the car from the example above. I tell my wife that I want to buy that ZR-1 Corvette for $100,000.00. She says "no way we cannot afford it. Besides our 3 year old cars are in near perfect condition…we don't need it. Sure they have a few glitches but it would be only a few thousand dollars to fix them. We save $97.000.00 as opposed to your plan."
I tell her that our very good cars are old heaps that barely work. She doesn't believe me at first. I keep hammering her on this. Eventually she is going to have a bad experience with one of the cars such as it breaking down on the freeway or something.
I point out that she would not have broken down on the freeway if I had been able to buy my new Corvette. She questions my logic but secretly hates the fact that she was stuck on the freeway for 90 minutes waiting for the tow truck. We put a thousand dollars in the car to fix it and it works perfectly well.
I keep bringing up the Corvette. She tells me I am annoying her. I suggest that perhaps I haven't explained myself clearly enough. But then I change my tactics. I now suggest we purchase a different car for $50,000.00. Of course I tell her we are saving $50,000.00. What a deal.
Well…I don't know about your spouse…but mine sees right through this deception. She knows spending money is spending money. Just because you spend less than originally intended does not mean you are saving money. You are simply spending less…but YOU ARE STILL SPENDING!
Our federal and state governments think we are stupid. These are the tactics that they use on us. First they are spending us into oblivion and then their answer to correct the problem is to spend even more. However, they are now saving money for us because they are not spending as much as they could spend.
Remember the first scenario? If you spend more than you make year after year after year…it ultimately turns into a disaster. We always hope we will increase our income…but if that doesn't happen quickly enough…you lose.
Next, if we want to correct this problem we spend some more (but not as much as we could have spent)? In what universe does this make any sense at all?
Yet…we are told it is much too complex for the average person to understand. Do you know why we are told this? Deception…pure and simple. Our government is deceiving us so that their spending can continue unchecked.
Why do they want to spend so much? Well…that is another topic completely that we will not get started on but it is certainly worth considering.
You see…we are not being told the truth. Our government is deceiving us. Our economy is spinning out of control and very few people are standing up and saying "time out." What makes matters worse is that our government has increased the insanity by five or ten fold over the past year.
It is not helping…it is destroying us. Our government wants to spend massive amounts of money and they are defending themselves by saying that it is helping. However, the facts tell a completely different story. Do a little investigation for yourself…there is no other conclusion an honest person can come to.
I don't care if GDP is growing slightly. Our national debt is booming and growing by millions if not billions every second. WE CANNOT POSSIBLY SUSTAIN THIS. Please let's put a stop to the insanity…please!
The deception from our federal government (and many state governments) is unfathomable. The problem though…it has worked to this point. Those in control of our federal government are getting exactly what they want through deception. Are we going to allow it to continue?
Okay…the ranting is over. That was nice.
Hang on…tomorrow, (or at least in the next few days) I will share part 2 of this series on how to get what you want. It is a shift from deception (an attitude of taking) to providing help and service to others (an attitude of giving). Where would you rather land on that spectrum from the one extreme to the other? Would you like to be like the government or my wonderful Internet Marketing friends who give of their lives and their time every single day?
Anyhow…I hope you appreciated what I had to share today…spread the word please and I so would love to hear what you have to say. Leave a comment below.
Thanks!
