For a period of time there was no information available at all. At one point the Dow lost about 1,000 points. Then it rose again and ended up at 10,520.32 with a loss of 347.80 overall for the day.

I am not going to speculate as to the nature of the day. The news from Greece is not good and the news about Gold supplies being just a fraction of what they should be in the major banks is not good either.

However…neither of these stories is all that new or explosive. There was some new news about Greece much earlier in the day…but it didn't cause the market to change much. The vast changes in the market changed later in the day with no apparent connection.

This post is not so much about sharing information as seeking it. Anyone have any ideas about what is going on? There is seemingly something unusual and abnormal happening. I for one would like to know what it is.

If anyone out there has any ideas…please leave a comment. I am not sure everything is functioning in a free manner. There is either some insider news that most people don't know about or there was a major malfunction or some outside manipulation happening with the market today. That is what I come up with…but I am not an expert in these areas…help!
