12 Steps to Financial Freedom…
Step 1: Understand who you are, what your passions are, what you are excited about and pursue, pursue and pursue!
This is such a massive subject that it will be difficult to cover in just one step…So, we are going to hit the highlights and “inspire” you to continue searching for the answers of who you are and what gives you energy and motivation to conquer anything in life.
The vast majority of people go though life never tapping into their true potential. One of the primary reasons for this is the lack of understanding of what truly gives them great excitement.
We are so programmed in our culture to follow what everyone else is doing and to learn “the basics in our educational system” that people completely get burned out in life well before they ever even begin to investigate what makes them unique and therefore powerful.
If you track any “modern” society’s progress you will find a common thread of the tendency toward “sameness.” The more a culture heads in this direction…the less likely the individuals will be encouraged or even “tolerated” to pursue their unique passions and drives that will catapult them into a beautiful and satisfied life.
The backwards aspect to all of this is that the richness of a culture or society is always made up of the individuals within in. The concept of the collective does not bring beauty and desire and drive for better things…it only cultivates complacency and the tendency towards laziness.
In the end the society will always implode with mediocrity and simply slip into history with a whimper.
So, this concept of finding your uniqueness, your passions, your gifts or whatever you wish to call it…is not only important for you, it is vitally important for your community, society and culture as well.
Next time I share on this subject we will cover…
How do you determine who you are?
